# Ex 8. Know your skillset

Take **5 minutes** to rate each of your five ideas out of **10** in relation to the **relevance of your skillset** to solving the problem in this way.

Your skillset *can* include your connections' skillsets too – if you know you'll be able to get them involved. 

But, resist the urge to go with an idea that is unrelated to your own skills. Technical businesses are best started with a technical co-founder involved. Deep expertise in the field is not necessary, but you need to be able to find a reason why **you** are the person to implement this idea.
